One of the quieter but important changes for 2026 is the All Indonesia arrival card. If you are flying into Bali or anywhere else in Indonesia, you need to complete it before you land. Here is the short version.
What the arrival card is
The digital arrival card rolled out in October 2025. It merges the old separate immigration, customs, health and quarantine declarations into a single online form. Instead of filling paper cards on the plane, you complete one declaration online in a few minutes.
When and how to complete it
You can file it up to three days before arrival through the All Indonesia app or the official web portal. You will enter your passport and flight details, your accommodation in Bali and a short customs declaration. Once submitted, you receive a QR code or confirmation to show on arrival.
Why it matters
Immigration and customs officers now expect the digital confirmation. Travellers who have not filed it are sent to complete it on the spot, which slows everyone down after a long flight. Doing it in advance keeps your arrival smooth, especially during Bali’s busy season.
How it fits with your visa
The arrival card is separate from your visa. You still need a valid VOA, e-VOA or other visa to enter, and the arrival card sits on top of that. If you are unsure which visa you need, our Bali visa agency team can point you to the right one.
Quick FAQ
Is the arrival card the same as a visa? No. It is a separate declaration, and you still need a valid visa.
Does it cost anything? The arrival card itself is free.
When should I file it? Any time in the three days before you arrive.
