Bali Digital Nomad Visa (E33G) 2026: Requirements, Income and Cost

Bali has long been a favourite base for remote workers, and the E33G remote worker KITAS gives that a proper legal footing. If you earn your income from outside Indonesia, this is likely the visa you want in 2026.

Who qualifies

You must be at least 18 and work remotely for a company or clients based outside Indonesia. Employees and freelancers with foreign clients can apply. What you cannot do is work for Indonesian companies or earn money from Indonesian sources on this visa. It is strictly for income earned abroad.

Income and document requirements

The headline requirement is an annual income of at least 60,000 US dollars. In practice you will show around three months of bank statements with a healthy balance, an employment contract or client agreements, valid international health insurance and a passport with at least six months validity. Travel insurance on its own is not accepted, so arrange proper international cover.

How long it lasts and the entry deadline

The E33G is valid for up to one year and is renewable. One detail trips people up: you must enter Indonesia within 90 days of the visa being issued. Miss that window and the visa expires with no refund, so book your travel with the deadline in mind. Our E33G KITAS guide covers the full process.

Cost

Government and service costs together come to roughly 13 million rupiah. Because the document checks are strict, most applicants use an agent to make sure everything is in order before submission, which avoids delays and re-filing.
